Ri3: AI that turns inbound documents into action
Ri3 reads, classifies, registers and forwards your inbound documents based on what they actually contain, not on who sent them or how they happen to look. At its heart is a purpose-trained language model that runs entirely on your own infrastructure.
Why it matters
Content-based document automation, supported by AI
Every organization receives a steady stream of written information: invoices, letters, forms, certificates and requests that arrive on paper, by email and through a growing number of electronic channels. Much of it still has to be opened, read, understood, sorted and passed on by a person before any real work can begin. That hidden layer of manual handling is slow, costly, hard to scale during busy periods, and easy to get wrong. A misread name or a misrouted invoice can cost hours to untangle further down the line.
Ri3 removes that bottleneck. A purpose-trained language model interprets the meaning of each document the way an experienced clerk would, recognizing that one page is an invoice, another a complaint, another a contract amendment, regardless of layout, template or formatting. Where documents arrive as scans or photographs, built-in optical character recognition first turns the image into machine-readable text, the language is detected automatically, and the AI then makes its decision.
Every classification carries a confidence score, so the system has a clear sense of its own certainty: it confidently handles the routine majority on its own, and flags the genuinely ambiguous cases for a quick human review. Over time, this means people spend their attention only where it truly adds value.
Faster handling
Inbound documents become usable, classified electronic information within moments of arriving. The AI works continuously and in batches around the clock, so volume peaks, holidays and Monday-morning backlogs no longer stall the queue. Instead of waiting in a physical post tray to be opened and sorted, each item is already understood, registered and on its way to the right place, shortening lead times across the whole downstream process.
Greater accuracy
Decisions are driven by the genuine content of each document rather than by manual sorting, fragile rules or guesswork about the sender. Because every classification is backed by a measurable confidence level, the system can distinguish between cases it is sure of and cases worth double-checking. That consistency removes much of the routine human error of high-volume manual handling, along with the slow and expensive work of finding and correcting those errors later.
Lower cost
Less manual opening, reading, copying and physical movement of paper means a direct reduction in the effort tied up in administration. Staff are freed from repetitive sorting to focus on exceptions and higher-value work, and the same throughput can be achieved without hiring purely to absorb seasonal peaks. Because the models are optimized for the task and run on standard server hardware, there are no per-document cloud fees and no specialized infrastructure to budget for.
More sustainable
Turning paper into electronic information at the very entry point means far less printing and photocopying, and far less physical transport of documents between desks, departments and sites. That translates into meaningful savings in paper, toner and energy, and a smaller overall footprint. The on-premises deployment adds a lean, predictable energy profile: efficient hardware doing focused work rather than continuous heavy compute.
Inside your own four walls
Just as important as what Ri3 does is how it runs
For finance, insurance, public administration, healthcare and other compliance-heavy environments, this is often the deciding factor: data residency, auditability and predictable operating costs, without the uncertainties of external dependencies.
Fully on-premises
Sensitive information never leaves your infrastructure, never travels to a third-party service, and remains entirely under your control.
Lean by design
The models are trained and tuned specifically for your document landscape, so the solution stays lean and runs efficiently on standard server hardware. No specialized accelerators, no cloud back end.
Modular and scalable
Introduce it step by step: start where the return is most obvious, prove the value quickly, and extend from there at your own pace.
How it works
From the post tray to the right workflow
Ri3 follows a clear, automated path that mirrors the journey a document would otherwise take through your organization by hand, just far faster and fully traceable.
Capture
Documents arrive through any channel: post, email, scanned files and other electronic sources. Ri3 ingests them automatically, picks up their attachments, and prepares each item for processing without anyone having to open, save or forward it manually. Whatever the entry point, everything is funnelled into a single, consistent intake.
Understand
Scanned pages and images are first converted into text through multi-language optical character recognition, so even paper originals and photographs become fully searchable content. The AI then interprets that actual content, what the document genuinely says and what kind of document it is, rather than relying on its format, layout or sender. The language of each document is detected automatically, so Hungarian and a wide range of other languages are handled seamlessly within the same flow.
Classify and register
Ri3 classifies each document by content, assigns it a confidence-scored document type, and registers it in a central record. Nothing slips through the cracks: every item, every decision and every processing step is logged, so the entire journey stays transparent, auditable and traceable from arrival to outcome. Duplicate copies are recognized as such, keeping the record clean.
Route
Each document is forwarded into the right digital workflow, or into the digital archive, already in a clean, consistent electronic format and ready for the next step. The handover is automatic, so the right team or system receives exactly what it needs, when it needs it, with no rekeying and no manual dispatch.
Strong in front of finance and administration
Ri3 is at its strongest when it sits ahead of finance and administrative processes, acting as the intelligent intake layer that feeds them. The clearest example is electronic invoice processing: inbound invoices are automatically captured, read, classified and routed straight into the approval workflow, each one accompanied by a full audit trail that records how and why it was handled the way it was. The same pattern applies equally to orders, statements, claims, official correspondence and many other document types.
Because Ri3 integrates with both lightweight and enterprise-grade databases, it fits a single department and a large, high-volume back office equally well, and it slots in front of the systems you already use rather than asking you to replace them. It starts small, proves itself on the documents that matter most, and then grows with you, extending across more document types, more languages and more departments as your needs evolve, all while keeping everything running securely on your own infrastructure.
